One of my favorite things about season in Southwest Florida is the return of our farmers markets. They are a great place to pick up fresh produce, locally prepared food, flowers and handmade goods while getting to know the people and small businesses that make this area special.

Naples #1
Third Street South Farmers Market
When: Saturdays, 7:30–11:30 a.m., year-round
Where: Third Street South, Naples
This is one of the prettiest ways to spend a Saturday morning in Naples. The Third Street South Farmers Market combines local produce, seafood, flowers, baked goods and specialty foods with the charm of Old Naples.
During the summer, the market moves to the Neapolitan parking lot behind Tommy Bahama and The Old Naples Pub. During peak season, it returns to Third Street South between Broad Avenue South and 13th Avenue South.
My suggestion is to arrive early, grab a coffee and leave yourself time to wander through the nearby shops.

Pine Ridge Farmers Market
When: Sundays, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., year-round
Where: 3370 Pine Ridge Road, Naples
If Saturday gets away from you, Pine Ridge Road gives you a Sunday option. This neighborhood market brings together local farmers, bakers, artists and small businesses.
Expect produce, gourmet foods, desserts, flowers, honey, handmade products and a relaxed Sunday-morning atmosphere.

Vanderbilt Farmers Market
When: Saturdays, 8 a.m.–1 p.m. during the main season
Where: The Shoppes at Vanderbilt, 2355 Vanderbilt Beach Road, Naples
Vanderbilt is one of North Naples’ largest farmers markets, with dozens of vendors offering produce, seafood, baked goods, specialty foods, flowers, gifts and plenty of tempting things to eat while you walk.
It is a busy market, so arriving early usually means easier parking and the best selection.

Bonita Springs Farmers Market

Where: The Promenade at Bonita Bay, 26795 South Bay Drive, Bonita Springs
This is our hometown market and one I always enjoy recommending. The Bonita Springs Farmers Market offers fresh produce, seafood, baked goods, flowers, plants, jams, honey, prepared foods and creations from local artists and craftspeople.
The Promenade setting makes it easy to make a morning of it. Browse the market, enjoy breakfast or coffee and take a walk around the shops.

Coconut Point Farmers Market
When: Thursdays, 9 a.m.–1 p.m., October through April
Where: Coconut Point Mall, 23106 Fashion Drive, Estero
Located near Panera Bread at Coconut Point, this weekday market offers produce, seafood, meats, baked goods, flowers, honey, prepared food and locally made crafts.
It is an easy market to combine with lunch, shopping or errands at Coconut Point. The market is typically closed on Thanksgiving.

Marco Island Farmers Market
When: Wednesdays, 7:30 a.m.–1 p.m., November through April
Where: Veterans Community Park, 901 Park Avenue, Marco Island
The Marco Island Farmers Market is one of the area’s largest seasonal markets. More than 100 vendors typically gather with fresh produce, seafood, baked goods, artisan cheeses, prepared foods, flowers, local artwork and handmade products.
Arrive early for easier parking and bring a reusable bag. The market makes a great start to a day exploring Marco Island.
